Enjoy a day out at Llanerchaeron in Ceredigion for free over the weekend of the 12th and 13th September as part of the annual Open Doors initiative across Wales. Visitors can explore the villa (house), garden and farmyard.
Adding to the interest, from 11am until 4pm there will be a historical re-enactment display on the front lawn. Travel back in time to 1485 and meet soldiers who have set up camp on their way to the Battle of Bosworth. Chat to the knights and archers and watch demonstrations of the longbow, sword and Welsh spear and sling in action.
