Enter the magical world of the Moomins this spring and summer at the Museum of Gloucester’s wonderfully family-friendly interactive exhibition. Families can look forward to an activity-packed adventure themed on Tove Jansson’s iconic stories.
Use your own smart phone, or borrow a device, to learn about seven friends from Moominvalley – each has a special Moomin AR feature that can be explored via augmented reality. Watch a mini documentary to find out more about Tove Jansson, who created the Moomins, and her Moominhouse.
Dress up, read a Moomin tale in the tipi, complete a Moomin activity sheet, create a magnetic Moomin-inspired scene on the play wall and explore three ABC islands, gaining the confidence to talk about some big feelings with the help of a Moomin buddy.
