Medieval Festival - A Skirmish at Arundel Castle

There’s just so much to see and enjoy at Arundel Castle’s Medieval Festival – A Skirmish, which is set during the 15th century.

Families can feel the excitement of a French raiding party seeking to seize Arundel Castle, while the Earl is away, and the small garrison force trying to defend it!

Watch two skirmishes each day, as well as falconry demonstrations, medieval music performances, fire eating, and artillery demonstrations. Explore three tented encampments, and see 15th-century crafts, cooking, weapons, and armour!

Younger visitors can take part in the Castle’s renowned ‘Kids Battles’, while there is also archery and axe-throwing to take part in – with some activities having age restrictions.
