Halloween Half Term at Carew Castle and Tidal Mill

Celebrate Halloween with a family day out at Carew Castle near Tenby in Pembrokeshire this October half term. With a spooky trail, haunted house experience, storytelling and a ghost tour, it is a great choice with something for everyone.

• Spooky Scarecrow Trail (24th October-1st November). Find all the scarecrows lurking in the corners around the Castle and see what your mysterious prize is! Use a smart phone for this self-led activity.
• Creepy Mill: A Haunted House Experience! (24th October-1st November). Pluck up your courage and venture into the Tidal Mill at the spookiest time of the year. What creepy scares will be waiting in the gloom… Recommended for supervised children aged 4 years and over.
• The Storymaster’s Tales: The Castle of Blood (25th, 26th and 27th October). A family fantasy show including audience participation Suitable for ages 6 years to adult – all children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• Family-friendly Halloween Ghost Tour (27th, 28th, 29th and 30th October). Hear stories of ghostly sightings as you explore. Recommended for ages 5 years plus. Tickets do not include daytime admission to the Castle.
• Room on the Broom: Storytelling Workshop (28th and 29th October). Join Carew’s friendly witch and see Julia Donaldson’s tale come to life. Tickets also include crafting your own magic wand and mixing a potion. Suitable for ages 4-8 years.

Normal admission fees apply plus extra charges for some activities.
