Preschoolers can look forward to lots of fun in the great outdoors at Batsford Arboretum on the 2nd Thursday and 4th Friday of every month from March to October. So treat your toddlers to a day out and join in the fun. It’s a great opportunity for your tiny explorers to discover the Forest School’s site and interact with nature.
Activities will including making mud pies, bug hunting, storytime, craft and more. The Forest School Leader will lead sessions. If it’s raining, there’s a large covered area to use. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while they supervise children. Remember wellies, waterproofs, old clothes and long sleeves and trousers or leggings. Sessions are ideal for ages up to four years, who are walking (no older siblings).
