Follow in the Footsteps of Uhtred at Bamburgh Castle

In 2024 follow in the footsteps of Uhtred of Bebbanburg when you join the tour from 10th February to 3rd November on selected days in The West Ward of Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland.

Join Ragnar as he takes you on the journey of the real Uhtred the Bold who defended his great home of Bebbanburg and managed to climb the ladder of power to the point where he was allies with both Vikings and the King of England!

Compare the fantasy of the famous Last Kingdom Series to the real history. Find out about a battle scene that was filmed in the area and be crowned Queen or King of the North.
