Look for places to see Father Christmas in Derbyshire? Head to Bolsover Castle on weekends from 30th November to 22nd December and enjoy a magical start to the festive season. Father Christmas will be waiting to join young visitors (plus one adult per child) for seasonal storytelling sessions around the Christmas tree.
After the group session there will be the opportunity to meet the great man and take some photos. Each child will receive a traditional present to unwrap.
Other fun festive weekend activities at Bolsover Castle in the run-up to Christmas include Bolsover Christmas Quest for families; the Silly History Boys; traditional Mummers Plays; learning about the history of Christmas parlour games. To add to the atmosphere, the Little Castle will be decorated for a Victorian Christmas.

Best Santa visit ever
I went today with my best friend and our grandchildren and it was the best experience I have ever had on a visit to Santa I will definitely be booking again next year. It was not the cheapest visit BUT you have access to walk around the grounds of the Castle the gift from Santa was very high quality and most important of all the very entertaining Santa was very believable and the stories he tells are enjoyable for both adults and children and lastly your child is made to feel very important. VERY HAPPY AND IMPRESSED.
