Step back to the past on a family tour around the stone circle at Avebury in Wiltshire this summer and autumn. These volunteer-led tours are a great way for families to find out more about Avebury, which is part of a World Heritage Site. Just sign up for a tour and get your ticket at reception in the barn.
Tours run on selected Wednesdays and Sundays at 11am and 1pm during Wiltshire school holidays. Tickets cost £2.50 per child and adults go free. There is no need to book in advance but early arrival is recommended as capacity is limited and tours run on a first come, first served basis.
