Dragonfly Festival at Slimbridge Wetland Centre

Families can look forward to summer holidays packed with dragonfly-themed activities and events at WWT Slimbridge in Gloucestershire! Venture into the magical world of dragonflies and enjoy a variety of exciting new wetland experiences.

Collect a spotter sheet and see how many dragonflies you can find as you explore the wetlands. Try your hand at pond dipping and discover the tiny creatures living below the water’s surface. You may even find some baby dragonfly nymphs. Have fun in the water-based play area or test your skill with giant outdoor games.

Self-guided dragonfly canoe safaris run daily and are sure to be a hit with young adventurers! At weekends there are wild safaris allowing visitors to go behind the scenes for a extra-special adventure into the wild.
