Cathedral Quarter Ice Rink Derby

Put on your Christmas jumpers and glide onto the ice at Derby’s seasonal covered ice rink in the Cathedral Quarter. Whether beginners or experienced skaters, all are welcome. There is plenty of room for spectators and seasonal refreshments are available. Twinkling lights and a festive playlist add to the atmosphere.

Sessions last an hour, tickets include skate hire and sit-on and standing skate aides are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis. Minimum age for skating is four years old in general skate sessions. There are designated toddler sessions for ages five years and under to try skating with with their adults.

Book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
