Dive Headfirst into our Family Water Special!

All the beautiful sunny weather we’ve been enjoying recently has got us thinking not only of sun-loungers and barbecues but also of family water park fun – it’s the perfect time to cool down and get the kids into their swimmers!

We’ve pooled our resources (we couldn’t resist a water pun) and compiled a list of some of our favourite water-based attractions for you and your family to visit this summer. From exhilarating flume rides, to relaxing spa areas, we’ve made sure there’s something to suit all members of the family.

Wet ‘n’ Wild, Tyne and Wear

Take the kids for an exhilarating ride on the flumes at Wet ‘n’ Wild – the North East’s biggest indoor water park.

There are 10 exciting flumes, including the Abyss and Black Hole! You could even tackle the Kamikaze – if you DARE! Float around the lazy river and ride down the Calamity Canyon! There’s also a wave machine, and a mini water park for the younger ones.
