How are Classes Structured?

Classes operate weekly in term time and are grouped into the following:

  • Lower Primary (ages 5–8): younger children use their energy to try their hand at acting and learn how to work with their peers — classes designed to build confidence and creativity.
  • Upper Primary (ages 9–11): students explore drama in its many forms through improvisation, script work and role-playing, developing key communication skills while each child feels seen as they explore their sense of self.
  • Youth Theatre (ages 12–18) takes on everything from radio plays and monologues to spontaneous improvisation and theatre games, giving older children and young people a drama experience that grows with them

Please note: age groupings vary by location, and some local schools run mixed primary classes. Pop your postcode into the Drama Kids website to see exactly what’s on near you — then book a two-week trial and let the new term take centre stage!
