Longleat in Wiltshire becomes a magical land full of festive cheer this Christmas season! So treat the family to an unforgettable winter day out and enjoy the Festival of Light on selected dates from the 8th November 2025 to 11th January 2026.
In 2025 visitors will encounter favourite characters from Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and more along the awe-inspiring immersive lantern trail. Also look out for native wildlife and famous UK landmarks. Journey through Stonehenge, pass underneath a 15m-tall Tower Bridge and marvel at the spectacular Welsh Dragon!
Once again the popular Santa Train will be collecting passengers for a trip past Half Mile Pond to North Pole Halt, a snow-covered winter wonderland. Then make your way to meet Father Christmas in his grotto, pass on your Christmas wishes and join in activities. Children will receive a gift and adults can tuck into hot chocolate and a mince pie.
The Enchanted Christmas Tree Show returns with the singing Christmas tree illuminated by a host of twinkling lights. Flurries of snow add to the atmosphere.
Other festive attractions this Christmas at Longleat include guided Festive House Tours allowing visitors to see the house dressed for Christmas. Finally, Longleat’s adventure and animal attractions, including the Drive Through Safari, will be open during the day.
