- Learn how to knit – watch an online video, find lots of free knitting patterns on craft sites and yarn suppliers sites, try lovecrafts or hobbycraft for inspiration.
- Delve into the dressing up box and charity bag to make a Scarecrow for your front garden so that people on their daily walk can admire it. Change its clothes every few days, make it a celebrity or a character from a book. Keep it fun!
- Let the kids set up a Master Chef contest at meal time, let them do some adventurous cooking and then present it in an artistic way as a Master Chef and then serve it to parents like a very posh restaurant. They can design their own menu cards too.
