Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park details...

Family days out at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park offer fresh air, beautiful scenery and fun for all ages. Near both Bath and Bristol, the Park is located beside the River Avon.

Visitors see rare and exotic animals such as chinchillas, kune kune pigs, wallabies and bearded dragons and at Pets Corner there is the opportunity to handle and feed smaller animals. Don’t miss falconry displays, with birds of prey on show 12noon-4pm, and a daily flying display at 2.30pm (seasonal and weather permitting).

Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park’s indoor play barn for under 12s enables kids to let off steam on slides and rope ladders. The Outdoor Adventure Play Area has climbing frames, obstacle courses, slides and, for the bravest, there is the Big Red, a huge slide with a big drop at the top (facilities are seasonal and weather permitting). Toddlers have their own special area with a large inflatable and ball pool plus a large sandpit area.

Train and tractor rides are always popular (extra charges apply). The train travels on a 5” miniature gauge along its Strawberry Line, while the tractor-pulled land train takes visitors around the park, passing by animal enclosures. Children aged 5–12 years can have a go on pedal go-karts on a small track.

Why not challenge the family at the 9-hole farm-animal-themed crazy golf course and see who is the best shot? There are holes to suit all abilities. Alternatively, enjoy some time on the boating lake in a rowing boat during the summer months when the weather is warmer.

The indoor air shooting cannon arena with six air cannons firing soft balls is bound to be a big hit and the timed boulder-dash scramble wall will definitely bring out the competitive streak. Segway and archery are also available on site (extra charges apply).

On selected dates from the Easter holidays to September, camping and glamping are available. Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park is ideally located for visiting Bath and Bristol and you will have 24-hour access to the park!

Please see Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park’s website for opening times and other details before travelling.
