Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust

One of the best places to take your budding transport enthusiast in Glasgow is The Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust. Formed in 2002 the GVVT is based in the former Bridgeton Bus Garage at 76-136 Fordneuk Street. The garage is now well established as a heritage centre for buses and commercial vehicles. The collection contains over 100 buses, coaches, commercial vehicles and fire appliances – not just from Glasgow but all over Britain and even beyond.

The collection is not open to the public on a daily basis, but does hold open days and events throughout the year, when visitors will have access to wander round and see what goes on, with examples of vehicle restoration work at all stages.

Family tickets, offering substantial savings, are normally available for all GVVT open days.
