Discover the Tudor cooks in the kitchen at Buckland Abbey, it's fun for all the family! Held on the 25th and 29th of May and the 8th of June.

Smell an open fire and something cooking at the Tudor Cooking event days at Buckland Abbey – in this living history display!
The Tudor cooking team will be in full costume, preparing a spread fit for a Tudor household. Their menu will be tailored to the time of year, and may reflect events in the Tudor social or religious calendar.
Visitors may be able to assist with some simple tasks such as grinding spices! This regular event brings the Abbey to life. The food will not be available to eat but, visitors will be provided with recipe cards to try at home!
Families can find the Tudor Cooks in the Kitchen of the Abbey, on the ground floor.
