The award-winning Joss Bay is a really lovely family beach to spend a day on. It has lots of soft sand, is sheltered by low cliffs, is great for rock-pooling and is home to Joss Bay Surf School, which hires surf boards, wetsuits and offers surf lessons. Facilities include seasonal lifeguards, a kiddies corner with a bouncy castle and trampolines.
