Paradise Wildlife Park is voted Hertfordshire’s No.1 Outdoor Attraction by Trip Advisor and is set in the beautiful surroundings of Broxbourne Woods, in the heart of the Hertfordshire Countryside.
Paradise is home to over 800 exotic wild animals, from the biggest tiger species, Amur tigers, to the world’s smallest known monkey the pygmy marmoset. Paradise even exhibits the largest anaconda on display in the UK and holds one of the best big cat collections in the country inside the World of Animals.
You can also meet some life-size animatronic dinosaurs at the incredible World of Dinosaurs attraction. It is one of the UK’s biggest and most spectacular animatronic dinosaur attractions, set in acres of natural woodland. World of Dinosaurs features over 30 life-size, moving and roaring dinosaurs – a real thrill for any dinosaur adventurer!
Experience their newest area the Land of the Tigers, in a whole new way, through the opening of the Bamboo Kitchen. An Asian cuisine restaurant with 180 degrees viewing of the tiger territory. This quick food service will be an experience for everyone, and one you will not want to miss out on!
Paradise is also Europe’s leading wildlife park for animal experiences. You can meet the mischievous meerkats in Meet the Meerkat experience, and hand feed one of the white lions in the Big Cat Experience. All the funds raised from these animal experiences go directly to the conservation and welfare of the animals in their care and in the wild.
Paradise Wildlife Park/The Zoological Society of Hertfordshire is situated 20 miles north of London, 7 miles from Junction 25 on the M25 and approximately 25 minutes from London Liverpool Street by rail.

I visited Paradise Wildlife Park with my husband, teenage daughter and 5 year old son...there really is something for everyone to see and enjoy! We took the little train around the World of Dinosaurs which thoroughly entertained my son, he loved the life size moving dinosaurs! There are also plenty of play areas around the park to keep little ones busy! There are lots of animals to discover too, we particularly enjoyed watching the feeding of the penguins and tigers along with listening to the informative talks by the keepers. A highlight of the day for us all was most definitely being able to observe the big cats. The White Lions , Tigers and Snow Leopards are majestic and beautiful...a real treat to be able to see so close up! We were also lucky enough to visit on the weekend that Santa arrived at the park and took residence in his grotto! We enjoyed listening to a live performance of classic Christmas songs whilst browsing the Christmas market selling some beautiful hand made crafts. We will definitely return for another visit in the Spring and would highly recommend a day at Paradise to any family, whatever age group. Fabulous day out!!
