Families will find plenty of things to do and enjoy at Hatfield Park Farm in Hertfordshire.
Set in the grounds of Hatfield House, the Park Farm gives visitors a close-up experience of ducks, geese, sheep, goats, cattle and many more animals. As you enter the farm, be sure to look at the blackboard with details of all the day’s activities available at the farm during a visit.
Hatfield Park Staff give talks and demonstrations on the animals and there are daily shows to see. There are lots of other activities for the children to take advantage of, such as sand pits which are always fun to play in, tractor tyres, which they can bounce around on and a wooden tractor, which they can climb up and over. Included in the price of a farm ticket is access to Bloody Hollow Children’s Play Area and also free tractor and trailer rides, should you feel tired and need a rest.
There is a miniature train ride that does incur an additional charge. If you are looking for a special venue for a birthday party, then Kid’s Kabin, an outdoor shelter, can be hired for ’do it yourself parties’ between 11am and 4pm. The shelter is in the centre of the farm and offers lots of space in your very own private area, indoors and outdoors, for those important party games. It is possible to bring along decorations to personalise the shelter too.
For party guests there is access to the Bloody Hollow Children’s Play Area and it is possible to take a tractor and trailer ride and walk around the Farm.
Stay safe. Coronavirus advice is being updated regularly. Some attractions are starting to reopen with social distancing measures in place. Enjoy browsing the site for trips and please check directly with the venue before visiting. Let’s Go with the Children is here to help and support families with ideas and information on what attractions are re-opening.
