Get the family out into the fresh air on a day out at Basildon Park near Reading during 2019. As well as exploring the house and grounds, one of the fun things to do is the Wild Play Trail through beautiful woodland. So take the kids along to have fun in the great outdoors! You’ll find a total of 20 different play stations, each offering a different experience or challenge. There’s a sensory room, wooden xylophone, log bridges and much more.
The play trail is suitable for young visitors of all ages. Especially for visitors with short legs, there’s a point half way along which offers a convenient place to turn back. Afterwards, treat the family to refreshments back at the house. Just collect a trail leaflet at Visitor Reception when you arrive.
Finally, there’s no need to leave four-legged family members behind as dogs on leads are welcome.
Normal admission charges apply plus £2 extra for the Wild Play Trail.
