Add the National Slate Museum to your list of places to go with the kids in North Wales during the summer holidays. As well as the usual attractions, there will be drop-in craft workshops – ideal for creative kids (and their adults). So take the family to have fun with the museum’s Art Cart.
How about making a slate frame, decorating a piece of slate or colouring a geological timescale? Perhaps you’d rather make patterns in the foundry sandpit or dress up in the quarrymen’s houses? There really is something for everyone.
Free entry to Museum.
Additional charge of £1 applies for slate crafts.
Please see the National Slate Museum’s website to find out more and plan your visit.
