Hands-on encounters with a wide variety of animals, a quiz trail, workshops, advice from vets and more in Buckinghamshire from 16th to 24th February 2019.
Green Dragon Eco Farm Claydon Road, Hogshaw, Buckinghamshire, MK18 3LA
This February half term it’s the animals in Pets’ Corner who will be the stars at Green Dragon Eco Farm. So treat the family to a fantastic day out in rural north Buckinghamshire and learn in particular about the amphibians, reptiles, invertebrates and small mammals in Pets’ Corner. The youngest visitors will be fascinated by the guinea pigs and rabbits, whilst older children may prefer the exotics such as snakes, tarantulas, scorpions and others. If you fancy fresh eggs for breakfast, consider chickens as pets!
Visitors will be able to join the livestock staff for a range of fun and educational experiences. Hands-on encounters with animals from the farm, Pets’ Corner and Wildlife Zone are sure to be a hit with young visitors. Also there will be Q & A sessions and workshops offering the chance to find out more about welfare and the small creatures.
Have a go at the Love Your Pets quiz trail and you may win a Family Day Pass in the prize draw. Meanwhile, if you’re an annual pass holder, the prize will be a selection of soft toys. Finally, look out for appearances by vets and local suppliers at certain times. A wonderful chance for existing and future pet owners to gain advice and encouragement.
Farm admission costs £9 for an adult and £8 for a child.
