Why not treat the family to a great day out at Oxford Castle and Prison? This February half term young visitors can try their luck at some amateur archaeology! The hour-long event is in The Key Learning Centre and activities will include a treasure hunt. This is a lovely way to explore the 1,000-year-old site and learn more about its fascinating history. Also there will be fossil making and practising the art of excavating itself.
It’s the perfect afternoon for children with an interest in history, or just a bit of fun and the chance to try something new! This activity is suitable for ages 5-11 years in particular. However, all children are welcome and accompanying adults go free. Don’t miss out, book one of the spaces now to avoid disappointment.
