Open 16 Feb - 24 Feb

Plan a family day out during half term with the kids to visit the Farmyard and Playground at Chatsworth when they are open for the February school break.

The kids can let off some steam during their half-term holiday at the pirate themed event where they can join in some swashbuckling fun; test their courage when they get the chance to handle the spiders and snakes; blast pirate targets on the trailer ride between 11am and 3pm; explore the adventure playground and meet all the animals in the farmyard. Pirate themed crafts will encourage the kids to get hands-on creating a pirate hat and a squawking parrot, taking place at 11am to 1pm and 2pm until 4pm. Then you can grab your hat and your new parrot friend for a ride on the high seas in the galleon.

In Small Animal Handling sessions you can handle all sorts of cuddly farm creatures, three times a day at 11.30am 2pm and 4pm. There’s no better way to get up close and personal with our guinea pigs, lambs and goat kids (in season).

Tickets are available online costing £24 for a family of 2 adults and 3 children. Find full information and booking at https://www.chatsworth.org/events/half-term-in-the-farmyard-and-playground/
